The association is a humanitarian and politically neutral non-profit organization with the purpose of procuring funds for humanitarian projects and determining and monitoring their use. The institution (association) does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. The association aims to secure the improvement of living and working conditions for families and individuals in need living in family communities and to achieve the social reintegration of those affected through its work. The association is particularly committed to supporting children in need who grow up in deplorable living conditions, enabling them to lead a dignified life and integrating them into society. In the event of humanitarian disasters, particularly in the Western Balkans region, the association can initiate targeted fundraising campaigns and provide humanitarian aid in the affected areas. The association has the task of informing its donors and the wider public about poverty and need among children and families in need living in the Western Balkans region, in order to mobilize their willingness to support the necessary solidarity and aid measures. The association can work directly with like-minded organizations in Switzerland and abroad and solve tasks together. The like-minded organizations commit themselves to the highest financial transparency in the sense of securing the trust of donors. The association also pursues a secondary purpose; this serves: the promotion of social integration of people with a Serbian migration background living in Switzerland; raising public awareness of people with a migration background.
