Parenas Pfotenhilfe CH engages in active animal welfare in Switzerland and abroad; organization and implementation of neutering projects in Switzerland and abroad; support for households/animal food banks in Switzerland and abroad; support for partner associations in Switzerland and abroad; rescue of stray animals and mediation/adoption mainly of dogs and cats; cooperation and support with other animal welfare organizations; holding lectures on animal welfare and prevention in Switzerland and abroad; active search and assistance with pre- and post-controls for animal placements/adoptions; collection of donations. The association takes all necessary and suitable measures to achieve the above-mentioned purposes and goals through the activity of its own members and their networks. The association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. It is independent as well as politically and religiously neutral.
