The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the former employees of the former Walter J. Heller AG Bauunternehmung, Bern in Bern and companies economically or financially closely related to it, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability. It may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum requirements. An employee is considered to be anyone who, at the time of the application for debt restructuring for Walter J. Heller AG Bauunternehmung, Bern in Bern (March 28, 1995), was in an employment relationship with this company or a company economically or financially closely related to it. Previously acquired claims to benefits in the event of old age, death, and disability remain preserved. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, in which it is both the policyholder and the beneficiary.
