The company's purpose is: a) to operate a business in the field of wood technology (carpentry, joinery and cabinetmaking, in particular), including all planning, construction, renovation, transformation, execution and installation work, site management and all special work related to this field; b) to purchase, sell, import, export, represent and market, on its own account or on behalf of third parties, all goods, products and materials directly or indirectly related to wood technology and construction; c) all commercial and financial transactions (except those resulting from the mandate of financial intermediary within the meaning of Article 2, paragraph 3 of the Federal Law on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (LBA)), whether movable or immovable, except for transactions prohibited by the LFAIE, directly or indirectly related to the purposes described above and intended to promote its social interests; d) to acquire participations in all Swiss or foreign companies pursuing identical or similar purposes, as well as the creation of branches; e) to grant loans or advances to its associates or third parties, to guarantee loans subscribed by associates or third parties, to secure such loans by issuing or pledging mortgage securities or other securities, as well as to subscribe to any other financial commitment. The company may carry out its activities both in Switzerland and abroad.
