The purpose of the foundation is to provide improved support for the welfare of the employees of the founding company and their dependents, as well as to secure them against the economic consequences of old age, death, accident or disability, and to provide assistance in times of need. The foundation also serves as a reserve fund, from which the employer's contributions to the occupational pension scheme of the founding company's employees can be paid in times of poor business performance, but only up to the amount of the designated deposits made by the founding company.
