Occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees (for the inclusion of the employer, Articles 4(2) and 44(1) BVG are applicable) of the founder and companies economically or financially closely related to the founder, as well as for their relatives and beneficiaries against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. By decision of the foundation board and with the approval of the founder, the personnel of companies operating in Switzerland that are economically or financially closely related to the founder may also join, provided that the foundation has the necessary means at its disposal and the rights of the existing beneficiaries are not impaired. The accession of such a company is based on a written accession agreement. The accession agreement and any amendments thereto must be submitted to the supervisory authority. Furthermore, it may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in cases of need, such as old age, death, illness, accident, disability or unemployment, and may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts for the purpose of achieving its purpose, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
