The foundation's purpose is to provide benefits (old age, death and disability) and benefits in cases of need such as illness, accident and unemployment to the employees of the founding company and economically or financially closely related companies, as well as their dependents and survivors. Employer contributions to personal pension institutions affiliated with the founding company and exempt from tax may be made from the foundation's funds if contribution reserves have been previously accumulated and separately disclosed by the foundation (Art. 331 OR). The foundation may also provide contributions, benefits or insurance premiums to other tax-exempt pension institutions established for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
