The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the companies affiliated with the foundation, with a registered office or place of business in Switzerland, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. A company's affiliation is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation provides occupational pension provision exclusively for retail companies in the shoe, sports and leather goods industry with a membership in the ANWR Group eG. The foundation can provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support services in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment.
