The association aims to: a) continuously improve and promote poker sports nationwide, taking into account its people-connecting, educational, cultural and humanitarian value, specifically through the promotion of poker sports through youth and development programs; b) organize its own competitions; c) issue and enforce regulations and provisions governing poker sports and related aspects; d) control poker sports in all its forms by taking all necessary measures to prevent violations of the SPSA's statutes, regulations and decisions, as well as the rules of the game; e) ensure that poker sports are accessible and funded for all who wish to participate, regardless of gender or age; f) promote integrity, ethics and fairness, thereby preventing methods or practices such as corruption, illegal gambling, doping or game manipulation that could jeopardize the integrity of games, competitions, players, officials and clubs or lead to abuse of poker sports; g) serve as a service provider for its members, acting as a nucleus for poker sports for all players. The association is open to new developments and aligns its actions with current conditions and needs in society; i) the association develops poker sports offers as a modern leisure activity. It conveys poker as a sport, promotes talented and performance-oriented poker players, and organizes a modern and varied game operation; j) the association is committed to a positive and modern image of poker sports, poker clubs and poker players in the public eye.
