The Company's purpose is to provide all services of any nature supporting the commercial activities and/or other activities of the affiliated companies of the Philip Morris International group, as well as the acquisition, financing, holding, and/or disposal of Swiss and foreign companies of any nature, with the exception of any participation in real estate companies in Switzerland. The Company may, in particular, in Switzerland and abroad: carry out any financial, commercial, and industrial activity directly or indirectly related to its purpose, create branches or subsidiaries, participate in other companies with an identical or related purpose, acquire or create similar companies, and in general carry out all operations that would be likely to achieve the corporate purpose directly or indirectly; as well as carry out treasury operations, intra-group financial transactions on its own account or on behalf of a subsidiary of Philip Morris International Inc., including granting loans or guarantees to its affiliated companies or to third parties, if this favors the interests of the group to which it belongs.
