The art society "pop-up museum" (PUM) aims to promote and support contemporary art through the operation of a temporary museum and temporary exhibitions for media art, photography, visual and performing arts, as well as performance, with the goal of realizing temporary exhibitions. With new formats for art mediation, young national and international artists are to be offered exhibition platforms, promoted, supported, and made known to a broad audience. The pop-up museum conveys art in a popular, dynamic, and understandable way. The pop-up museum does not have a fixed exhibition location and is geographically unbound. The exhibitions can take place both in Switzerland and abroad and are specifically designed for the changing spatial conditions. The pop-up museum can be rented as a supplementary marketing measure for exclusive corporate events or exhibitions by third parties (pop-up museum satellite) and aims to generate additional exhibition visitors, promote the awareness and image of the museum and exhibition, reach new target groups, build new networks, promote art mediation, enable additional financial resources for museum operations, and enable additional financial resources to support exhibitions and artists. Events and exhibitions by third parties must comply with the regulations of the art society, the conditions regarding exhibition and public safety, and the "General Terms and Conditions" of the pop-up museum.
