Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights sets the framework for our work: Every individual has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. In countries where this is not respected, the Association aims to spiritually support Christians around the world who are victims of discrimination or persecution. Portes Ouvertes socio-humanitarian organization pursues the following public utility goals: 1. Social development: this action is based on the following main axes: a. Literacy courses; b. Vocational training, agriculture and trades; c. Health and medical services; d. Primary and secondary school. 2. Emergency aid: channeling humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters. This list is not exhaustive. The main objective is to give Christians the means to integrate into the local community despite persecution and discrimination and to encourage them to stay in place. They can thus practically demonstrate values such as love and forgiveness.
