Première Urgence-Suisse carries out all humanitarian activities in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide, in accordance with the fundamental principles of Première Urgence Internationale, as listed in its charter, including: providing assistance, relief and preserving lives in the context of actions in favor of civilian victims endangered, marginalized or excluded by the effects of natural disasters, wars, economic collapse following an international or national political upheaval, directly or indirectly, through other associations or foundations; sending humanitarian missions to any region of the world, without any discrimination, due to disasters, collective accidents, conflict situations or great precariousness, at the request of European Union states, intergovernmental, regional or international organizations, other humanitarian actors, de facto authorities, directly affected populations, minorities or their representatives, in complementarity or as an alternative to the actions of governments or other local or international organizations (for complete purpose see statutes).
