The association does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit. The association helps (particularly socio-economically or health-disadvantaged people, people with disabilities, elderly people) with managing daily life. It supports older people in living independently in their own homes. It promotes more quality of life for the neighborhood residents. The association creates fair and locally rooted neighborhood jobs in an uncomplicated way. These neighborhood jobs are intended for the following target groups in particular: people who want to gain their first work experience in Switzerland (immigrated, young people); people who want to re-enter the workforce after a break (children, travel, illness, accident); people who need to earn a little extra money in an uncomplicated way (single parents, students, retirees with small pensions, part-time self-employed); people who are socially poorly networked or lonely but have skills they want to/ can contribute. The association promotes personal encounters, social networking, and cohesion in the neighborhoods. To fulfill the above purposes, the association operates an assignment and job placement service called neighborhood jobs. The association may also develop and carry out further projects that fulfill the association's purposes.
