The purpose of the company is to provide rapid assistance to third parties and the general public in cases of poverty, illness, suffering, distress, accidents, disabilities, and helplessness. (2) The purpose of the company is: a) to promote assistance for those persecuted for political, racial, or religious reasons, for refugees, displaced persons, expellees, late resettlers, war victims, war widows, war disabled, and prisoners of war, as well as assistance for victims of crime; b) to promote fire protection, labor protection, disaster protection, and civil protection, as well as accident prevention, particularly in the event of natural disasters, such as floods, drought, fire, and earthquakes, as well as the effects of climate change; c) to promote rescue from life-threatening situations due to the events described in a) and b); d) to provide selfless support to individuals in need due to poverty, illness, disability, and helplessness. (3) In addition, the company achieves the purposes mentioned in (2) by procuring actual and financial means and forwarding these means to those in need. (4) The purposes of the statutes are realized in particular by: - procuring means through contributions and donations and forwarding the procured means to other corporations and individuals who are to use them for the realization of the aforementioned purposes; - conducting collections of material donations (e.g., food, clothing) and forwarding the procured means to other corporations and individuals who are to use them for the realization of the aforementioned purposes; - organizing helpers for active assistance within the framework of the purposes listed in (2); - organizing training and further education measures for helpers to ensure professional and legally compliant assistance; - supporting local and regional aid organizations in planning and implementing activities within the framework of the purposes listed in (2); - promoting social awareness in society and social cohesion through communication and public relations, including information stands; - promoting cooperation at the European and international level with RRT (International) and other social and charitable organizations; - supporting other charitable organizations. The association understands itself as a humanitarian, non-profit organization for the benefit of third parties without generating profit or profit.
