The association pursues the following purposes to promote a healthy marine ecosystem: 1. Development and implementation of methods and technologies for the detection and location of foreign objects in the sea, particularly ghost nets; 2. Removal and recovery of ghost nets and other foreign objects in the sea, as well as the organization of cleaning actions on coasts and beaches; 3. Responsible disposal and recycling in the field of marine conservation; 4. Raising public awareness and promoting preventive measures to avoid ghost nets among all relevant stakeholders; 5. Support of sustainable fishing practices.
