The foundation's purpose is to provide for the pensioners of Kuoni Reisen Holding AG and its economically related companies, as well as their dependents and beneficiaries, by providing benefits in cases of old age, death, and disability. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum requirements, including support in cases of need, such as illness, accident, or disability. The foundation board shall issue one or more regulations governing the benefits, organization, management, and financing, as well as the supervision of the foundation. The regulations shall define the relationship between the foundation and the insured parties and beneficiaries. The regulations may be amended by the foundation board, provided that the acquired rights of the beneficiaries are preserved. The regulations and their amendments shall be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may enter into insurance contracts or join existing contracts, in which case it must be the policyholder and beneficiary.
