The purpose is to promote the industrial location of Solothurn by providing suitable manufacturing and business premises, which are made available to innovative companies in the field of precision mechanical engineering and electronics. To this end, the foundation can acquire, develop, manage and sell plots of land in its own property or building rights and make them available to one or more companies at reasonable conditions. The foundation also promotes the training and further education of talented young employees in the mechanical engineering and electronics industry. Furthermore, the foundation can support research projects in the field of precision mechanical engineering.
