The foundation aims to support and promote projects, works, initiatives and measures of all kinds in the areas of social-humanitarian aid, development and culture. I. Social-humanitarian aid: Providing social-humanitarian assistance, in particular to those in need, to people who have retired from working life, to sick or distressed individuals of all ages in Switzerland and worldwide. The focus shall be on areas that are not or not sufficiently covered by the public sector. II. Development in the Third World: Supporting and promoting development projects in the Third World to sustainably improve the living situation of the population, particularly to eliminate emergency and crisis situations after wars, natural disasters, famines, etc. (sustainable crisis management). Projects can also be supported, in particular for demining mined areas, as well as for the reconstruction of destroyed or missing and the expansion of inadequate infrastructure in the areas of health, education and training (reconstruction and expansion aid). III. Culture in Switzerland: Promoting cultural projects in Switzerland or by Swiss citizens abroad. By applying a broad cultural concept, publications, work contributions, events and initiatives of all kinds can be supported, in particular also projects for the dissemination of cultural works that do not receive or receive insufficient commercial support (e.g. CD productions of special musical and film works). Scholarships or grants can also be awarded to culturally active individuals and institutions. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. It is politically and denominationally neutral.
