Promotion of cooperation with similar organizations in Switzerland and abroad, representation of the interests of member companies to administrative authorities, particularly at the federal level, social partners and the public, promotion of new, properly validated concepts and procedures for the prevention and treatment of wounds to ensure their application on site, ensuring the reputation of the field in the context of public opinion, regular information of the members of the two sections on the progress of the various joint matters and on the achievement of centralized decisions, development of a training project at the federal level to integrate it into medical and paramedical training programs, promotion and support of research in the field of prevention and treatment of wounds as well as support for the creation of care networks, taking into account cantonal peculiarities.
