The foundation aims to promote national animal welfare projects in the broadest sense, in a non-profit manner. In particular, it supports projects, efforts, institutions and organizations that strive to provide emergency aid, protection and health for animals. To fulfill the foundation's purpose, it can acquire, hold and sell properties or design buildings (e.g. animal shelters, animal homes, animal care stations, etc.) that are made available free of charge to institutions and organizations of animal welfare for operation in the sense of the foundation's purpose. This also includes the allocation of financial resources for the operation of such facilities. The foundation collects donations at home and abroad and can publish print and online publications. Merchandising products can also be sold. All proceeds from all activities are used exclusively within the framework of the foundation's purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and is not aimed at making a profit. The founder explicitly reserves the right to change the purpose according to Art. 86a para. 1 of the Swiss Civil Code.
