The cooperative aims to achieve its objectives through self-help, specifically: a) Operating the slaughterhouse in Burgdorf in compliance with relevant federal, cantonal, and municipal laws and regulations, as well as the terms of the lease agreement between the municipality of Burgdorf and the cooperative. b) Processing and utilizing slaughter by-products. c) Transporting slaughter animals, meat, and slaughter by-products. d) Protecting the economic interests of its members and representing these interests before the relevant authorities and offices. e) Participating in the collection and settlement of slaughter fees, meat inspection fees, weighing fees, stable fees, fees for meat imports, and other fees that are levied on users of the slaughterhouse and ancillary operations based on federal, cantonal, and municipal laws and regulations or the cooperative's bylaws. f) Assuming additional operational tasks through corresponding resolutions of the general assembly. The cooperative may acquire, manage, and sell real estate, as well as enter into any business transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the cooperative's purpose or are directly or indirectly related to it.
