The Swiss Padel Association (hereinafter referred to as SPV) as the supreme governing body for padel aims to promote the sport of padel in Switzerland. Its tasks include, in particular: a) Safeguarding the national interests of its members, especially the affiliated regional associations, padel clubs and padel centers; b) Compliance with padel rules in accordance with the regulations of the International Padel Federation; c) Awarding, organizing and supervising championships and other padel events with national and international character, in particular the formation of national teams; d) Issuing regulations for competitions; e) Coordinating and promoting the training and further education of all padel players; f) Issuing guidelines and recommendations for the orderly development of the sport of padel; g) Homologation of padel courts; h) Maintaining communication within the association and with external parties, as well as relationships with domestic and foreign organizations in the field of padel sports; i) Taking further measures that are suitable to serve the cause of padel sports. The SPV is a member of the International Padel Federation FIP (Federation International de Padel) and is recognized as the official representative of the sport of padel in Switzerland. It may join other national and international organizations.
