Schweizerischer Kino-Verband (SKV)

The core activity of the Swiss Cinema Association (SKV) is the representation and support of Swiss cinema owners. This includes in particular: the settlement of copyright and related rights fees; the preparation of statements and consultations on film economic, film cultural, financial and social policy issues; the defense against unjustified burdens on its members; the development of rules for film economic business transactions and the preservation of fair competition; the conduct of tariff negotiations with the collecting societies; and the gathering of information at national and international level. The SKV also advocates for an independent, film-culturally diverse and competitive cinema industry in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
