The purpose of the association is to promote child and youth welfare, education and upbringing, as well as to promote international understanding, tolerance and Christian charity in all areas, culture and international understanding. Within this framework, the association provides assistance to people in the poverty-stricken areas of the world. This is done worldwide through child-oriented development cooperation projects, humanitarian emergency aid, advocacy work, technical and spiritual aid services, as well as the promotion of biblical values. The purpose of the association is also fulfilled by the association partially allocating its financial and material resources, including all its assets, to another tax-exempt corporation or a public-law corporation for the promotion of child and youth welfare, education and upbringing, as well as the promotion of international understanding, tolerance and Christian charity in all areas, culture and international understanding, or by procuring financial and material resources for the promotion of these tax-exempt purposes through a tax-exempt domestic corporation, a public-law corporation or another foreign corporation. The association operates in the sense of the ordinance on the tax exemption of legal persons in a non-profit manner and does not pursue primarily economic purposes.
