The foundation aims to promote and support vocational and further education (formal and non-formal education) in the field of networked buildings and cities throughout Switzerland. The focus is on vocational basic training and higher vocational education. To this end, it develops and creates curricula and courses within the Swiss education landscape. It maintains intensive contact with organizations from the world of work (OdA's), companies and interest groups (IG) in the relevant industries. The foundation's profits and capital are dedicated exclusively to the specified purpose. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not operate for profit.
