As a public utility organization, the cooperative society aims to acquire or rent, preserve, restore and use the properties and lands on 'Pianted' above Menzonio and its surroundings. The properties will be used for agriculture/horticulture and craftsmanship, in an ecological, tourist, social and cultural manner, thus preserving them from real estate speculation. The Pianta Monda Menzonio cooperative combines old traditions such as self-help and transhumance with modern and environmental technologies, contributing to the fight against depopulation and the rewilding of the valley. The Pianta Monda Menzonio cooperative aims to stimulate cooperation among members, collaborators, guests and valley residents, with the surrounding natural environment in its entirety. Pianted must be and remain a place of work, community and simple life. In particular, the cooperative aims to be a self-sustaining company with financial and administrative support to avoid exploitation, sharing burdens and expenses fairly. The intention is to offer guests the opportunity to relax and/or help. In this sense, the cooperative seeks collaboration with other similar groups to have an active exchange of ideas.
