The cooperative housing society 'La Toupie' has as its main purpose to provide its members with housing or premises for rent at favorable conditions, and in general to promote the improvement of the housing conditions of its members. The cooperative housing society 'La Toupie' also aims to develop housing according to criteria of solidarity economy, social quality, and environmental respect, in accordance with the principles of its ethical charter ratified by its members. The objectives aim at the quality of a communal and participatory habitat, and promote, on its site, artisanal work and food production. The cooperative housing society 'La Toupie' strives to achieve these goals, in particular through the acquisition or construction of housing on land to be acquired to satisfy new members and the necessary living space; real estate and land transactions that contribute to the improvement of the housing conditions of members; the associative management of common spaces and sociocultural and intergenerational exchanges; the prohibition of engaging in any speculative operation; and the promotion of soft mobility.
