Through the joint action and co-responsibility of its members, the cooperative aims to provide its members with safe housing at favorable prices and to maintain them. It rents out its housing in the following order of priority: a) First to employees of the Federal Administration, Swisscom, the Post Office, the CFF and RUAG. b) Then to employees of organizations affiliated with the PUBLICA pension fund. c) Then to retirees from the companies and organizations mentioned in letters a and b. d) Finally to other applicants. The cooperative seeks to achieve this goal as follows: a) Acquisition of building land and/or superficies. b) Construction and acquisition of rental properties that meet the current housing needs of a cooperative. c) Careful and continuous maintenance, periodic renovation and modernization of existing buildings. d) Realization of new construction if existing buildings can no longer be renovated in a cost-effective manner. e) Use of support instruments, within the meaning of federal, cantonal or communal laws, to promote the construction of housing at moderate rents or prices. f) Administration and rental of housing in accordance with the principle of cost-covering rents. The cooperative's activity is of public utility and does not pursue any profit-making purpose. The cooperative may participate in companies and organizations pursuing an identical or similar purpose.
