The "Solargenossenschaft Bergli" aims to construct and operate solar energy systems (photovoltaic systems for feeding solar power into the public electricity grid) through joint self-help; to sell the produced solar power to members, enabling them to produce their electricity needs or a part thereof in a CO2-free manner; to sell excess solar power to compensation providers (KEV of the Confederation or a private provider's solar power exchange) in order to increase the share of renewable energies in the Swiss electricity mix; to promote the exchange of information among members regarding the use of solar energy and the construction of solar energy systems; to acquire, hold or dispose of plots of land, usage and building rights or similar, insofar as this serves the purpose of the cooperative; to join organizations or similar, insofar as this corresponds to the purpose of the cooperative.
