SOS Criança Brasil

Assistance to children in need and disabled children in Northeast Brazil, particularly in the states of Paraiba and Rio Grande de Norte, some of the poorest provinces in Brazil; children in need are to be helped through nutrition programs, health services, health care and provision of educational opportunities; furthermore, assistance to children is to be provided through support for needy mothers: by establishing and maintaining nurseries for working mothers, literacy training for mothers, their instruction in family planning, health care and balanced and healthy nutrition; young people are to be offered educational programs to learn practical trades.
