The association ensures modern home care services and provides them in accordance with the applicable legal requirements and the performance agreements concluded with the contracting municipalities. It strives to provide its services appropriately, economically, and effectively, and to design and further develop the necessary processes and structures. The association is a non-profit organization. It can be a member of cantonal and inter-cantonal umbrella organizations. The home care service fulfills its tasks in cooperation with the general practitioners, hospitals, nursing homes, and other home care relevant organizations. It represents the concerns of health promotion and maintenance to the cared for and nursing persons and their environment as well as in public relations work. The home care service enables appropriate further and advanced training at all levels with the aim of securing the quality of the work and adapting to the development. The home care service can offer services to other organizations or take over services from other organizations. The home care service can expand its service offering, for example in the direction of comfort services, in the presence of market needs and secured financing. The home care service can also offer its services in municipalities with which no performance agreement exists, provided that financing is secured. The home care service can participate in companies that pursue a similar purpose.
