The obligations of the ecclesiastical holder of the St. Anna benefice are as follows: He shall assist in the best possible way, without prejudice to his other obligations, in the care of the children's church service of the Roman Catholic parish; he shall be committed to assisting in the religious education of young people on Sundays and weekdays; he shall participate in hearing confessions, both of young people and adults, as well as in the religious care of the sick; he shall diligently participate in the morning and, if possible, also in the afternoon parish church service on Sundays and holidays, and shall participate in the parish church service on weekdays as much as possible and, if necessary, provide assistance; he shall celebrate the holy sacrifice of the mass every day in the parish church of the city of Solothurn; of these holy masses, one shall be celebrated every week for the founder and her living and deceased relatives. The celebration of the holy mass in another church shall be permitted to the holder of the benefice, but shall not create a permanent obligation for the benefice. If possible, he shall perform the requiem masses of the St. Anna Congregation, for which the latter shall pay the relevant stipends. If obstacles arise for the holder of the benefice, whether due to illness or other accidental or self-chosen circumstances, which prevent him from celebrating the weekly holy mass of the foundation for the founder, he shall ensure that this holy mass is read weekly, as determined above.
