Stiftung Bündner Literaturpreis

The foundation aims to award a literary prize to individuals from the canton of Grisons who are active in the field of literature. Individuals from the canton of Grisons are considered to be those who are resident or have their place of origin in Grisons, or whose work has a particularly close connection to the canton. The literary prize can be awarded to individuals or groups of authors for works that have been published in the last three years. It is also possible to recognize an entire life's work. Only living individuals are eligible for the award. Literature is defined as written works in the narrower sense (fiction) and in the broader sense (non-fiction, cultural and intellectual historical texts). The award is given in the form of a cash prize, which can be awarded to writers for their literary work in the Romance, Italian or German languages.
