The foundation aims to promote classical music of high standing for the public benefit. It organizes concerts and provides performance opportunities for young musicians who have successfully completed their music studies at a recognized Swiss institution. This enables musicians to enter professional life and serves as a link between educational institutions and established orchestras. The foundation contributes to cultural exchange within the country and also sees itself as a cultural ambassador of an open-minded Switzerland in the heart of Europe. The purpose is achieved in particular through the support and organization of cultural projects and concerts; organization and implementation of individual concerts and concert series at home and abroad with programs from Baroque to contemporary, also considering cross-disciplinary projects; subsidization of concerts, especially outside cultural centers; and covering deficits of concert series. This list is not exhaustive. In any case, the support must have a non-profit character and be in the public interest. The foundation does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes.
