The municipality of Kilchberg is the owner of the C.-F.-Meyer-Haus at Alte Landstrasse 170 in Kilchberg. In the old country house, the municipality has established a local museum containing various collections: a collection of Zurich porcelain and faience from the Schooren manufactory; C.-F. Meyer's study with furniture, library, etc.; an exhibition on the Mann family in Kilchberg; a collection of local historical cultural objects. The foundation aims to secure and support the continuation and expansion of this institution. Specifically: the main purpose of the foundation is the preservation of the building's value for cultural use as a publicly accessible building and the associated museum, including the acquisition of additional exhibition objects. Within the framework of this main purpose, the foundation's capital may be used. The secondary purpose of the foundation is to support the museum's operations and create favorable conditions in the house and garden for the implementation of cultural events. Associated expenses should be financed from the foundation's income whenever possible.
