A. Family Foundation: In the sense of a family foundation according to Art. 335 of the Swiss Civil Code, the foundation aims to support the descendants of the founders in difficult life situations, during their studies, as well as in their education, further education, and continuing education. To achieve this purpose, a maximum of 4/5 (four-fifths) of the foundation's resources shall be used. B. Ideal Foundation: In the sense of an ideal purpose, the foundation aims to support individuals and institutions that promote the following values: The dissemination and promotion of the ideas and mysticism of Brother Nicholas of Flüe, 1417-1487: as a mystic; as a husband of Dorothea Wyss and family father; as a politician and father of the Swiss nation; The dissemination and promotion of the ideas and human image of Karol Wojtyla (later Pope John Paul II), 1920-2005. In particular, the present ideal purpose aims to financially and morally support selected studies and projects that disseminate the mysticism of Brother Klaus of Flüe and the anthropology and theology of the body of Pope John Paul II in word and deed, and to make their significance for marriage, family, education, and bioethics known. This shall be achieved through: Supporting education and/or further education in the relevant sciences; Supporting creative methods of dissemination adapted to the respective zeitgeist and target groups. In doing so, the eternal values and the content of the teachings of both saints shall be carefully observed. The whole shall serve a truly human bioethics, medical ethics, and professional ethics of the corresponding human sciences. To achieve these ideal purposes according to lit. B, a maximum of 1/5 (one-fifth) of the foundation's resources shall be used. To achieve the foundation's purpose, the foundation maintains and manages the properties in Maloja. To achieve the purpose of the family foundation according to lit. A, the foundation provides the descendants of the founders with suitable means in difficult life situations, particularly in cases of mental and physical illness, and/or enables them to use the properties in Maloja. Furthermore, the foundation can provide the descendants of the founders with the properties in Maloja as a place of retreat and silence for learning during their studies, as well as for learning during their education, further education, and continuing education.
