The foundation aims to provide care for needy Catholic clergy of the Diocese of Chur by granting support in cases of old age, death, illness, disability, and unprovoked distress. In addition, it may take further measures that directly or indirectly serve the promotion of the well-being of the aforementioned beneficiaries and Catholic interests in general, particularly Catholic welfare, pastoral care, and culture. The affiliation of any other foundation of the same or similar kind to this foundation is possible at any time by decision of the foundation board. The required approval of the bishop is reserved. To achieve the purpose of the foundation, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts in favor of the beneficiaries or a part thereof, or enter into existing contracts.
