The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. The foundation aims to provide, from the income of the foundation's assets, and in special cases from the assets themselves, while maintaining a capital of CHF 500,000: a) Primarily to provide assistance to senior citizens and/or other needy individuals who receive benefits from the IV or EL and reside in the municipality of Brügg, and whose financial situation requires it, such as for the purchase of assistive devices; b) Contributions can be made to residents of Im Fahr, Brügg (nursing home) if they had an uninterrupted residence in Brügg for the last three years or a total of at least fifteen years before entering the home, or if they are members of the Burgergemeinde Brügg; c) To make contributions to institutions and events for the benefit of senior citizens of the municipality of Brügg; To contribute financially to the decoration, beautification, or infrastructural improvement of Im Fahr (nursing home); d) To contribute financially to events and leisure activities for residents of Im Fahr (nursing home); f) Services, offers, and institutions that directly or indirectly contribute to the preservation and promotion of the independence and networking of senior citizens. Priority is given to lit. a and b.
