It promotes the breadth of topic selection and in-depth commentary. The foundation may specifically deal with printed newspapers and magazines, television and radio broadcasts, as well as news, reports, opinions, and presentations in electronic or other media. The foundation operates on the basis of a liberal and democratic Western understanding of the state and a liberal economic order. The foundation may, in particular, commission scientific studies, publish publications of all kinds, organize conferences, build and support the higher scientific education of journalists, publishers, and other professionals in the industry, and undertake everything that promotes its purpose. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland within the framework of its purpose. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. Commercial purposes are excluded.
