The foundation generally aims to promote (inter)cultural creation in all areas, with scientific, development-oriented, and social concerns not being excluded. Contributions can also be made to individuals and institutions in Switzerland and abroad within the framework of the foundation's purpose. In particular, this may include the following tasks: for the time being, the operation of the "Gartenflügel" Ziegelbrücke in Glarus Nord, gallery and cultural forum, as long as these premises or possibly a replacement are available and used within the framework of the foundation's purpose; organization or participation in exhibitions or other cultural events (such as lectures, concerts, theater, etc.) and projects; support of (inter)cultural organizations, cultural creators, and events or projects by third parties; promotion of encounters and understanding between different cultures; organization or support of projects in developing countries; support of social projects and organizations.
