The purpose of the foundation is to provide financial support to individuals in need residing in the municipalities of Därstetten, Diemtigen, Erlenbach, Niederstocken, Oberstocken, Oberwil, Reutigen, Spiez, and Wimmis, or to tax-exempt charitable and non-profit institutions in the region, particularly in the following cases: a) Donations to families and individuals who have fallen into a difficult situation due to accident, illness, or other misfortunes (including economic ones); b) Support for institutions that care for disadvantaged people; c) Granting scholarships to talented young people whose parents or guardians are unable to bear the costs of vocational training or other education and further education alone, provided that no other opportunities for scholarships exist or these costs are insufficiently covered in relation to financial possibilities. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
