The foundation aims to provide specialist medical diagnoses (digitally and/or physically on-site) and issue recommendations for action in the field of all aspects of patient health, particularly in the field of gastroenterology, in the gastrointestinal area, in the field of the liver or in case of haemorrhoidal problems, as well as all related services. The foundation further aims to hold lectures for patients, offer further and continuing education and organise and support congresses or seminars for doctors and/or their employees, particularly in the aforementioned fields. These services are provided internationally. The foundation can also support research projects, award scholarships, grant loans. It can acquire and dispose of technical equipment and auxiliary instruments or lease them to partner institutions. The foundation can also support projects by third parties in these fields in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation is non-profit, does not seek profit, does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes and is politically and denominationally neutral. The foundation can, within the framework of its purpose, establish and operate legal entities in Switzerland and abroad, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, merge with other foundations, take over assets of other legal entities, support other organisations and/or enter into cooperations as well as carry out all actions and conduct all business that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose. Furthermore, the foundation can, for this purpose, acquire, hold, manage, encumber, exploit and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad, provide financing on its own or on behalf of others as well as provide guarantees, sureties and securities of all kinds for affiliated companies and third parties or secure or guarantee the obligations of these companies in another way.
