The foundation aims to research, promote, and disseminate patient-centered, holistic, and future-proof approaches in healthcare. Key focuses include initiatives around "Hospital at Home" ("Hospital at Home"), interprofessional collaboration, and healthcare that prioritizes the well-being of all parties involved (patients, relatives, healthcare workers) and contributes sustainably to a change in healthcare and a future-proof supply. In this sense, the foundation can in particular: - Support or carry out research projects and innovative projects that examine the effects of patient-centered care on patients, relatives, employees and the healthcare system; - Promote the development and implementation of models of home hospital care (Hospital-at-Home); Initiate programs, publications and events to support the cultural change in healthcare towards a relationship-oriented, salutogenic and integrated medicine; - Strengthen interprofessional dialogue, shared decision-making processes (Shared Decision Making) and the consideration of the autonomy and individuality of each individual; - Promote the linking of modern, evidence-based medicine with integrative approaches; - Support measures that strengthen trust, responsibility and meaning in healthcare; - Maintain and promote exchange with national and international initiatives, in particular the movement "World Hospital at Home"; - Engage in dialogue with relevant decision-making bodies in order to contribute to a holistic and future-proof healthcare system. The foundation is politically and denominationally neutral. The foundation is active throughout Switzerland and internationally in accordance with its purpose. The foundation is non-profit and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
