The purpose of the foundation is to promote humanitarian, charitable and non-profit endeavors in Switzerland in the following areas: a) Mountain rescue: preservation of ethnic, cultural and economic structures, support for mountain agriculture and small-scale industry. b) Homeless aid and refugee aid: support for homeless shelters, transit camps and refugee centers, as well as for homeless and refugees in their search for living space, with a focus on the Geneva and Zurich areas. c) Child aid: support for institutions and projects of the Pestalozzi Children's Villages in Trogen and SOS Children's Villages, as well as similar organizations. d) Aid for the visually impaired: support for institutions, homes and disabled individuals. The foundation can use the available funds directly for affected persons and individual projects, as well as for the support of institutions active in these areas. The foundation's services are intended to benefit, with a focus on, materially disadvantaged persons and institutions with a connection to the canton of Geneva, but may also affect the entire rest of Switzerland.
