The foundation aims to promote the vocational training or further education of young citizens of Iseltwald. The founders focus primarily on practical goals, particularly enabling the youth of Iseltwald to learn a trade or attend courses in agriculture, household management, and domestic science. The latter is also intended for school-leaving girls who have not yet made a final career choice but desire a practical foundation for life. The foundation seeks to encourage careers that may benefit the village, such as certain branches of craftsmanship, teaching, home care, and similar professions. Exceptionally, it may also facilitate a gifted young person's attendance at a secondary school (after completing primary, secondary, or vocational preparatory school) or a higher educational institution. Eligible are diligent and well-reputed young people of both sexes residing in the municipality of Iseltwald, where financial situation should not be the sole deciding factor. To support the foundation's purpose, it may accept contributions from third parties, particularly friends of Iseltwald.
