The foundation's capital and its returns are intended to serve the purpose of financially supporting the further education of young people who are exceptionally gifted in scientific, artistic or sporting fields and who are resident in the relevant municipalities. In the civic community of Romanshorn, young citizens with the surname Huldi are to be given preferential treatment. In the event of multiple applicants, those with the surname Huldi are to be considered. The economic situation of the individuals to be supported shall be taken into account. The foundation has no commercial purpose. Its services are non-profit, public and serve the general public. The charitable services are to be available to all needy persons residing in the municipality of Romanshorn. The foundation does not pursue any political or cultural purposes. It is neutral in terms of politics and denomination.
