The foundation aims to create a Swiss registry for the collection of treatment and disease data from patients with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN), to promote clinical research on MPN, to improve the care of patients with MPN, to facilitate international research projects by networking with international researchers, to support data exchange with other international MPN registration centers such as the University of Cambridge/Sanger Welcome Trust, the German Study Group for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (GSG-MPN) in Germany, Grupo Español de Enfermedades Mieloproliferativas Cronicas Filadelfia Negatives (GEMFIN) in Spain or their possible successor organizations and other organizations in these or other countries, to create a national Swiss biobank and to enable an MPN research scholarship.
