Stiftung Pro Nidfurn

The foundation aims to promote all efforts to preserve the worthy buildings and to create an intact and functional village image of Nidfurn; provide technical advice and financial support for planning and restoration work to preserve worthy building substances and facilities; cooperate with the federal government, canton, municipalities, the Glarner Heimatschutz Association (GHS) and the cantonal monument preservation in the interest of preservation, renewal and revitalization of the village unit; promote projects that have an identity-forming effect in Nidfurn. For the secondary purpose, a maximum of one quarter of the foundation's funds can be used. The foundation is non-profit.
