The foundation aims to pursue the dismantling of the erected protective temporary structures, to evaluate a contemporary and sustainable protection of the archaeological excavation site Sogn Murezi in Tumegl/Tomils, and to implement possible solutions. Furthermore, the central purpose of the foundation is to sustainably and long-term secure the funds for the construction, operation, and maintenance of this successor solution (protective structure), as well as to organize the conservation, operation, and maintenance of the archaeological excavation site Sogn Murezi, to prepare and convey the history of the site in a contemporary manner, and to sustainably integrate it into the tourist landscape of the region through a visitor concept. Any potential construction project on the properties No. 4449 and 4639 in Tumegl/Tomils should be planned and executed under the aspects and criteria of ecological sustainability. Special attention should be given to the use of ecological and regional building materials, as well as energy efficiency. The foundation operates in the canton of Graubünden according to its purpose.
